President Tsai Ing-wen won a second term in a landslide victory on Saturday, taking 57% of the votes and trouncing her main opponent Han Kuo-yu from the Kuomintang (KMT). Tsai’s Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) also won a majority of seats in the Legislature.
